Description: 1955Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door with a post. 265 V8 Powerglide Automatic. 53000 original miles, All numbers match and is a Janesville car. New temperature gauge put in because old one is broken, new gauge mounted on bottom of dash. Previous owner had a fire in the carb. Stored after and didnt run when we bought it. We rebuilt the carb and pulled the intake off and got it running. We cleaned out the gas tank. the exhaust is new from the Y back. New fuel pump put on. Put in a new light switch for the head lights. The seal between the transmission and engine leaks, we just kept an eye on it. New cap, rotor, points, plugs and wires. Inline fuel filter attached to the carb. Was repainted by one of the two previous owners and dont know when. Paint is blistering in certain spots picture included. Runs great. The radio and clock both have power to it but we never got them working. We are the third owner. My son and I are ready to let it go. Click here to contact seller
